Seed Saving has become ever more important as corporations develop hybrid seeds that cannot be pollinated and are sterile. Farmer's become reliant upon corporations to buy their seeds every year which reduces their chance to make a profit from their crop and this shipping practice is seriously effecting the bee population. " Pollen Nation" is a film, often paired with "Heart & Soil" at film festivals that shows what happens to bees when they have to be shipped to corporate growers around the globe. Bees weren't made to travel by semi, they have wings and are best suited, like seeds, to flourish in the area where they're from.
